Pedal Rescue – Bike Repair for the Rest of Us
Most of us didn’t grow up on high-end bikes. We rode what we had—yard sale finds, hand-me-downs, and the ones our parents grabbed from a department store. We put cards in the spokes to make motorcycle sounds, built ramps out of scrap wood, and rode until the streetlights told us it was time to go home.
Bikes haven’t changed much. They still give us freedom, adventure, and a way to get where we need to go. But when something goes wrong—when the chain slips, the brakes go soft, or the wheels don’t spin quite right—getting it fixed isn’t always easy. The places that sold them don’t repair them, and most bike shops focus on expensive models that aren’t what we ride.
That’s where Pedal Rescue comes in.
We fix the bikes that people actually own. Flat tires, wobbly wheels, sketchy brakes, stubborn gears—whatever’s keeping you from riding, we can get it sorted. No overpriced tune-ups, no sales pitches—just honest repairs to keep your bike rolling.

WHAT WE DO
Free Kids’ Safety Checks
A kid’s bike should be safe, simple, and ready to ride. We’ll check the brakes for proper stopping power, make sure the tires are aired up and free from damage, inspect the chain and pedals for smooth movement, and adjust the seat and handlebars for a comfortable fit. No charge—just peace of mind that your little rider is good to go.
Basic Tune-Up
If your bike isn’t riding as smoothly as it used to, it might just need a little love. Our basic tune-up includes adjusting the brakes and gears, tightening bolts and bearings, straightening the wheels, and making sure everything is road-ready. Whether it’s been sitting in the garage for years or just needs a quick refresh, we’ll get it dialed in.
Drivetrain & Shifting
Chains stretch, gears get stubborn, and derailleurs go out of whack—it happens. We’ll inspect and clean the chain, adjust the derailleur to shift smoothly, and fine-tune the gear indexing so you’re not stuck in the wrong gear when you need power. If your chain or cables are worn out, we can swap them out for fresh ones, too.
Brakes (Rim & Disc)
Soft brakes, squeaky brakes, or brakes that don’t brake at all? Whether you’ve got traditional rim brakes or disc brakes, we’ll adjust, clean, and replace what’s needed to make sure you can stop when it matters. We check brake pads for wear, tighten cables or hydraulics, and align everything properly so you’re always in control.
Wheels
A wobbly wheel can make your whole ride feel off. We’ll check for loose or uneven tension, make sure your tires are seated properly, and adjust your hubs so the wheels spin smoothly and evenly. If your bike feels bumpy or unbalanced, we’ll get it rolling right again.
Flat Tires
The most common problem with the easiest fix. Got a flat? We’ll replace the tube, check the tire for cuts or embedded debris, and make sure it’s properly inflated. Want fewer flats in the future? We can install puncture-resistant tubes, liners, or even a bit of sealant to help keep you rolling longer.
Cool Accessories & Upgrades
Make your ride fit you. Need more control? Longer handlebars. Want more comfort? A softer seat or higher grips. We’ve got the little upgrades that make a big difference in how your bike feels. Whether you’re customizing for style or function, we’ll help dial in the perfect setup.

ADVANCED TUNE-UP(NOT OFFERED)
A tune-up should get the job done. If your bike needs more, we’ll let you know, but we won’t sell you an overpriced package you don’t need. Honest service, fair pricing, and nothing more.

WHERE ARE WE?
We don’t believe in waiting around for a bike shop. Repairs should be convenient, and that’s why we bring the tools to you. Every Saturday, you’ll find us at the Lewiston Artisan Farmers Market, fixing flats, tuning gears, and keeping bikes rolling while people shop and enjoy the day. But that’s just one stop.
Most of our work happens wherever you need it. Book an appointment, and we’ll meet you in your driveway for a tune-up or repair. If your bike needs more attention, we’ll pick it up, fix it, and bring it back ready to ride. We also pop up in parks, neighborhoods, and community events, setting up where people ride, making sure their bikes are ready for the next adventure.
